Brian O’Donnell

fiddle

Brian is known for his ability to play a wide range of traditional fiddle styles, including old time, country, bluegrass, country blues, and Cajun. As fiddler for Owen Temple, the Lonesome Rogues, the Columbia County Sheiks, and the award-winning Cajun Strangers he has proved himself one of the most respected and sought-after fiddlers in Madison.

Jeff Burkhart

guitar

Jeff has distinguished himself not only as an interpreter of old songs, but as a composer of new ones, many of which are performed by the Bros., the Dirty Shirts, and himself solo. He was recently seen in the basement of Kiki’s Righteous House of Music, and was featured on Mad Toast Live and Wisconsin Public Television’s 30-Minute Music Hour. For several years Jeff was the guitarist in the Cajun Strangers.

Colin Bazsali

banjo, mandolin

Colin Bazsali started playing the banjo some 15 years ago after hearing recordings of Pete Seeger and Dock Boggs. Not content to play in one style or one instrument for more than 3 ½ minutes at a time, he usually can be seen retuning a banjo or reaching for a mandolin, guitar, or harmonica if he isn’t already playing one. He also plays drums in the Dirty Shirts and the Cajun Strangers.
